“Why not?” is more than a phrase to us — it is the philosophy that shapes every creation. It invites bold thinking, sparks innovation, and reminds us that true artistry begins where convention ends.
We specialize in transforming vision into form, crafting bespoke works that are as refined as they are imaginative. Every project is approached with the precision of fine art and the intimacy of collaboration, ensuring each piece reflects not only our craft, but the individuality of our clients and the spirit of the spaces they inhabit.
When a vision calls for elements beyond our own disciplines, we partner with a select circle of master artisans, uniting diverse skills in pursuit of uncompromising excellence. This seamless exchange of artistry and expertise allows us to realize projects of remarkable scope and character.
For us, luxury is not defined by extravagance alone, but by the experience of creating something that exists nowhere else. Every detail is considered, every possibility explored — and every “why not?” answered with beauty, originality, and purpose.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Terry Burnett has spent over thirty years shaping his artistic voice across many disciplines — painting, metal sculpture, airbrushing, woodworking, tattooing, and more. After relocating to Colorado in 1999, Terry made Fruita his creative base, where his work now forms part of the very fabric of the Grand Valley landscape.
Some of his most beloved public sculptures include Breakfast, an apple-core installation on 7th and Main; Flutterby, the kinetic butterfly at the Botanical Gardens; Whooshie, the swordfish at Lincoln Park Moyer Pool; and Kryptonite, a 13-foot seahorse that now stands at Canvas 35 Gallery. Beyond landmark pieces, Terry continues to craft custom metal creations, staircases, and every artistic endeavor that calls for creativity and craftsmanship.
Terry’s style is defined by a deep respect for form and material, and a fearless approach to exploring new mediums — including his more recent work painting on local Colorado marble. Whether guiding students, collaborating with the community, or imagining the next public work, he works with intention, precision, and a vision rooted in both elegance and originality.
Carlee Burnett grew up in the Grand Valley of Colorado, where she developed a love for creativity from an early age. By the time she was eight, she was exploring a variety of artistic mediums, discovering the joy of bringing ideas to life. It wasn’t until the fall of 2021 that she found her true passion: stained glass. Captivated by the interplay of light, color, and texture, she quickly immersed herself in the craft, transforming curiosity into expertise.
Today, Carlee works out of her private glass studio, where she creates one-of-a-kind stained glass and mosaic pieces and teaches classes in both disciplines. Her work is defined by an attention to detail, a love of natural forms, and a commitment to creating pieces that resonate with the spaces and people they touch.
Beyond her own creations, she actively fosters the local arts community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Fruita Foundation and founder of the Grand Valley Glass Art Society. For Carlee, art is not just a practice — it is a conversation between vision, material, and light, and an invitation to explore the beauty of possibility.
